As the title says, i'll write about pets...it's a little bit complicated because I've never had a pet, but I'll write based on the experiences of people I know that own pets.
The two most common pets are Dogs and Cats I guess...a lot of my firends have at least one of them...and I really envy them. I love Dogs!!, but unfortunately  my mum hates them and she is the big boss at home jajaja.
I've tried to convince her in many ways...but I'm afraid her decision is unbreakable :(

Anyway...when I grow up, and become independent, I plan to have 2 male dogs called Iakopo and Timy :)
I don't care about the breed, I just want to have my dogs.
There's a lot of things you can do with your dog, you can play, you can go running, they make good company, and many other things...but as everything in this life, having a pet has its pros and cons.
You have to take care of them as they were your children (but OBVIUSLY with remarcable differences jajaja, because there are some people who really think they are their children, and they dress them, they take them to the saloon, they organize birthday's partys, etc.) , you have to feed them approprately, take them to the vet when they get sick, vacunate them, give them a lot of love... they demands a lot of time and money.

well...that's all I have to say about pets I think...I won't write about the pets I don't like because I do not know anything about them jajaja but it's cats anyway ajjaja, I reaaaaaally don't like them, they're arrogant..they always escape from home and they only come back when they have to eat...that's no nice at all.

Today i'll write about a career-related website I visit frequently.

Actually I'm supposed to write about a website I enjoy visiting, but I don't really have a favourite one so I'll tell you about a very useful website for our reports and investigation works. Is not a dental science website only, it's more general. You can find everything here. This is http://www.scielo.cl

Well, as you can see in the picture, Scielo is a scientific electronic virtual library covering a selected collection of scientific journals.

When you enter the page, you can see a search system similar to google but here you'll only find science.

It's not very hard to use it, indeed, the only thing you have to do is to use the right words and that's it.

I visit it very often, I always have scientific work to do so I support my homeworks with a scientific paper or something I know is good.  This is an austere website, so everything you find here is a reliable source.

I like this site for that, there are all serious works you find her, and I like to investigate a lot of things. This is the perfect website for me :)

Phobiaaaas D: D: D: D:

Hi people!
Here is me again-talking about things...good things in general... things that makes you laugh for example, but today is different. Today I'm gonna talk to you about something people don't like, something horrible, something that makes you crumble and in some cases..makes you cry like a scared baby muajajajaj .
This is Phobias!.

In my case, nothing has scared me so much to the point it became a phobia, by fortune.
I understand phobias as an uncontrollable and irrevocable fear related to something. This something could be anything: animals, natural disasters, words, etc. but most common, I guess, are animal phobias.
There's one I find really strange, my sister-in-law suffers it. It's called Queloniophobia and is fear of turtles.

At the begining I thought it was a joke, cause I said...oooh man how can you fear turtles?, they're so tender, and incredibly slow..I mean they definitely won't catch you if you're on the ground... but there's the point!
She was not on the ground when the phobia begins. She was submerged in a huge acuarium swimming underwater when suddently something happened and a big turtle hit her and almost killed her!. This was over 20 years ago, when she was 10.

I dont' really know how she deals with it, but I know how she feels by observing her reactions. First she screams jaja sometimes very loud, then she gets pale, she starts trembling, and sometimes...when she sees a big one she faints.
It's incredible beacuse it is an instant reaction, even if she sees a turtle on a screen in a commercial for example that last 1 second, the reaction begins.
I think this is the most interesting phobia I know closely, 'cause there are so many funny but I don't even  know if they are all real.

Photo, photo, photo!

Well...I don't have many photos of my childhood, that's why are my favourites, I guess...
The reason of why I don't have many pictures of my childhood is because I'm the third one; I have two older siblings and my parents took them BILLIONS of photos when they were little babies, so I think they got bored of it and decided to do something new...Film me :D
I have videos of EVERYTHING hahaha, eating, playing, singing, dancing, crying, annoyed, happy, sad, laughing, etc.
It's very funny to watch those videos now. Every time we watch them we can't stop. We watch one, two or three sometimes (they last 1 hour at least) and of course... my siblings make laugh of me more than usual ...but that's not big deal, I'm already used to it

But, we're talking about photos today...
There is a photo in particular I like the most...this picture represent me 10000000%, is me in my elementary state, it is what I like to do when I get some free time...It isssssss

This picture shows my special ability...to fall asleep at any time I got tired, it doesn't matter the place, it doesn't matter if is comfortable, I just close my eyes sloooowlyyy and ...

The Chosen One

today i'll write about my favourite movie which issssssss.....

YEEEEAAAH!! STAR WARS!
I think you all know about it, or at least have heard about it, beacause if you don't ... I don't know what's happening with the world hahaha...no, that's a joke, it's just I'm a big fan of it.
Well...if you haven't heard about it I will make you a little synopsis. This is not only one movie, is a complete saga divided in 6 movies, or 2 trilogies: the original trilogy (released for the first time in 1977) and the precuel trilogy (released for the first time in 1999).

The story takes place a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away with the original trilogy. It begins basically with the Revel Alliance (an organized resistance) combating against the Emperor Palpatine's tyranny (The Galactic Empire) in the Galactic Civil War.

Vader (black) and Leia (white)

Palpatine's Sith apprentice Darth Vader captures Princess Leia, a member of the rebellion who has stolen the plans to the Death Star (a huge space station used for destroying planets and everything that crosses his way) and from then it begins a series of events and battles, space battles, fights, lightsabers duels, etc. that make it a very espectacular saga.
The original trilogy ends with the evil Emperor's death, murdered by his own aprentice who also is the father of one of the Rebels's leader and the protagonist of this saga, Luke Skywalker.
Well...you have to consider that Darth Vader wasn't always known as Darth Vader (this is a very important detail hahah), he was once Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one, the boy of the profecy, who were supposed to destroy the sith and bring peace to the galaxy, not join them to devastate everything.

The precuel trilogy tell us the story of what happened before the Empire age, this era is called The Republic era

The Cooking Chief

Hi again everyone!
Today I'll tell you about my favourite piece of technology!!! I mean, we all use technology and love it, but there must be a favourite object among all.

But...this could be a little difficult, 'cause at our home, we have a lot of different technology that we use every day and without it, life would be much more harder..in some ways.

In my case, I really, really love cooking! so I consider the most important or my favourite object:
The electric oven :)
jaja I know it could be strange for a teenager like me, but yes...that's my favourite object.
I acquired it a few months ago, January 2014. It was a gift, from my sister...she knows how much I love to cook and how much I wanted one of those. It's very helpfull as well for my mum..she cooks every day and is very easy to learn how to use it. You basically have to chop the food, season the meat or whatever you're gonna cook, select temperature,set the time and that's it!

Every weekend I'm the cheff at home, so of course, i'm the person in charge for cooking :D and as you can imagine I use the electric oven for everything! Toast the bread, bake chicken, potatos, fish, clams, shrimps, make cakes, cupcakes, etc., and that's another reason for why I wanted one of these so much. It makes all easier! so I don't imagine life without it any more, I guess I would have to cook like before, with the conventional oven...wich is not bad, but is not the best thing either.
 jaja It may sound like I'm crazy for it, but is just because is really helpful.

My life in a few words!

Hellooo everyone! This is my new blog. I'm going to introduce myself so...Here we go!

 My name is Alvaro Antonio Hurtado Lagos but people use to call me Alvarito.
I was born on June 9th 1995 in Santiago, Chile, then I grew up in a little house located in Estacion Central.
I have 2 older siblings,that's the reason why people call me "Alvarito": i'm the younger one.
 My sister is Romina, she's 26 and works as an english teacher in Pichilemu. My other brother is Sebastian, he's 31 and for the moment he's in Canada working as an Engineer.
I live with my mother only, my dad passed away 9 years ago, so we are 2 at the house.

I had a pretty good education, I graduate from Instituto Alonso de Ercilla in 2012 and entered the University of Chile in 2013, but I didn't like the career so I quit and decided to try another thing and here I am.

There's a thing that I love inconditionally...that's Basketball. I watch basketball, play basketball, sleep basketball, eat basketball, everything in my life is about basketball
I've played since I was 6 (started at school), and my brother plays too so he teaches me some times his tips and tricks for a better play.
Now I play as point guard (my natural position) in the Odontolgy Basketball team, with really excellent teammates.
 Unfortunately i'm not as tall as I wish :( , but I don't really care too much about that, I work hard every week to compensate that lack.

I also like soccer, of course, is the Sport's King, but I'm not really good playing it so I prefeer watching it, sharing a barbecue with friends :) IM SO EXCITED BECAUSE OF THE WORLD CUP!! CHILE WILL BE THE NEXT CHAMPION THIS JUNE...I hope.
